Tonight we paid tribute to former Derry City forward Mark Farren who passed away on the 3rd of February 2016. We decided to use a play on the lyrics of The Undertones song Teenage Kicks which has been adopted by the Derry City supporters.
“I need excitement, oh I need it bad
And it's the best I've ever had
I wanna hold her, wanna hold her tight
Get teenage kicks right through the night”
There was also a minutes applauds in honour of Mark Farren as Rovers presented a wreath to the captain of Derry City before the game.

Sligo Rovers vs. Drogheda United
Having not won a league at The Showgrounds since our four nil victory over U.C.D. on the 4th of October 2014 we made a tifo inspired from the TV series Breaking Bad. Our message to the players was “Apply Yourself... All Bad Things Must Come To An End”.

Before the St. Pats game (01.08.2014) it was our intention to pay our respects by displaying a banner to Chris Booth, the St. Patricks supporters who passed away in Poland prior to the St. Patricks vs. Legia game a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately our transport broke down on route and we were unable to attend the game.
